FRR – 100 CELEBRATED

An engaging entertainer with social message ‘Firs Rank Raju’…..Vidye 100% Buddi 0% Kannada film rocking in the box office in the last 100 days, heading for good show in abroad celebrated 100 days celebration in the presence of leading personalities of Kannada cinema on Maha Shivarathri Day in Chowdaiah Memorial Hall.

Raghavendra Rajakumar, Praneshachar (comedy show), Manjunath, Badarinath, Jeevan Babu, Subhash, KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu, KV Chandrasekhar, Thomas D Souza with Guru Nandan arrived on the stage to light the lamp. There was Ganesha Stuthi from Ms Parijatha, then followed a Carnival dance from Gokul and team.

The first batch to honor was artists. In the normal 100 days event what we have seen from the past the technicians were given trophies first. It was a reverse style for FRR.

Praneshachar of Gangavathi was special attraction on the 100 days event. Some of his witty lines were used for this film by director Naresh Kumar. In his short and humor filled speech Praneshachar said Dr Rajakumar, Bichi and Kailasam are his adorable personalities. In one frame I have a photo of all the three he says. On the observation of Sa Ra Govindu he wondered the pains for Kannada could happen in this way too. Utilize humor in literature to cinema so that it supports the success route he pointed.

Sa Ra Govindu called upon the government to bring in uniform admission rate for all language films and that should not cross between Rs.80 to Rs 120 he stated. 100 days event like this is becoming very rare. People who do not know the trick of film making are coming. They should not face failures. I get worried for such people he pointed.

Actor Jai Jagadish from artists front and Hrudayashiva from technicians side lauded the effort of this film with new makers.
